52. I don't know how much Debra Opri actually contributed to Larry gaining custody of his daughter. But I do know that she SPUN that man and made America believe he was just the best thing since sliced bread. And look at him now, peeking out of doors at awards shows, being followed (to some degree) by paparazzi, being "famous", being in magazines. She did an EXCELLENT job of getting his mug out in front of the American Public, and she did an outstanding job of making all the rubes (who now hate Larry because of his association with Howard), fawn all over him and fall all over themselves getting to their computers to sing his praises on message boards like these. The woman might not be pleasant, she might be loud, aggressive, abrasive, etc., but she certainly deserves to be PAID. She DID make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, she DID earn that money! Its not her fault if the purse turned back into the pig it came from!

53. Is this "forum shopping" or what? He needs to realize that the CA court system will move at a snails pace and it may be YEARS before this gets settled. Who knows, however, as he seems to have fast-tracked everything else.

I once went to the CA Bar complaining about an attorney's repeated failure to return my calls in regard to the status of my case (months). I was laughed at. I later found out that the union representing those working in the agency was on strike and I was talking to a stupidvisor who was most likely angry about having to do grunt work.

Once again, you can always file. Filing means very little in the grand scheme of things. I was wondering why Larry was back on TV a couple of days ago. His appearances seem to coincide with his filings, don't you think?

I honestly hope he gets slammed for his failure to pay Opri. You cannot dump your lawyer in the fourth quarter and expect not to pay. And he had better watch out if he loses these allegations because damages to Opri's reputation will not be difficult to prove. I still think he is purposefully being given bad legal advice.

56. I see this like giving your bank account number to a collection agency, and then you get pi$#ed and want to sue when they actually take your money. He signed a CONTRACT. He is an ADULT. It would be the same result for ANY of us. I'd like to see any judicial person side with Larry on this one. Judges/Lawyers are like doctors. They all stick together.

Of course Howard is behind this. That man has a spiteful streak about him. It's payback time.

58. Finally! Larry is getting good, sound legal advise!!!

Listen, Opri did what she could, while on the case, but at the end of the day she's a bully, she's disrespectful, and unethical. This can land her in huge trouble with the Bar. And her it is KARMA!

Larry signed the fee/retainer agreement, and she didn't followed it up with a Pro-Bono amendment. So he might be in the hook for a bill. None the less, she messed up again - she thought he would be the little lamb she could manipulate, and she feels entitled because she was in the middle of everything... Inapropriate, unethical - she's a scam artist with good words, and th eknowledge of the loopholes. Instead she milked the puuppy, inflated a bill, and here she is....

SHE WILL LOSE THIS ONE! Oh that's right ....she's been losing a lot of everything lately....

KARMA!
