17. You people realize that you don't HAVE to be born in Mexico to be of Mexican descent, right? His mother WAS Mexican and his father was Honduren. You don't have to like Carlos Mencia, but I don't think he's hiding his past. Who did you get that German stuff from? Joe Rogan? He's a winner. He admitted himself some time ago that his real name was Ned, so he's not hiding anything. Here's a quote:

27. I'm from Chicago and no Kanye didn't grow up in a suburb. He grew up in a neighborhood called South Shore. Many people believe that neighborhood names in Chicago are burbs. As for comparing him to the Huxtables, if his parents were so "well paid" I don't understand why his parents chose to live there of all places, it's not the best neighborhood. I'm not going to get on the people that dislike Kanye...hey free country your opinion!

28. P.S. for those that are saying he's a gangsta rapper...I wasn't under the impression he was trying to be. If you really listen to his music he doesn't talk about being a gangsta rapper. (if you say you don't choose to listen well...why do you care) And for the poster who said the "town" he lives in aka Chicago isn't bad because of a U.S. Open ummm how many things has New York and L.A. hosted and it's still not quiet suburbia USA. Like all major cities Chicago has it's good and it's bad spots.
