TMZ Confirms, Lohan Slips on Sobriety

Oh no ... this is not good. Cameras caught Lindsay Lohan taking a swig out of a bottle of what we've confirmed is champagne on New Year's Eve in Italy.

Blair Berk, Lindsay's lawyer, told TMZ, "The good news was that Lindsay stopped herself that night, called her sponsor, and got herself immediately back on track. There is no magic cure here. The most unfortunate part of this is that Lindsay has to share her 'one day at a time' with the entire world."

32. This is no surprise, I don't think Lindsay ever stopped. From the way she took a swig off the bottle and then passed it on QUICKY to some randon person in the crowd was enough to procve she is use to being sneaky with it. Oh and let's not forget the random itilian guy that she was photoed making out with, you had to be on something for that one to happen. Amazing, simply amazing.

33. Have been there..the great thing is that you called your sponsor..unfortunately I did not. I am still fighting with myself 10 years later..All it took was one glass of wine after 5 years of being sober....love to you

34. Did you really think she was going to keep off the sauce? She's a talentless drunk. And a major (!) slut. What else was there for her to do on New Year's Eve?

Or on any 'eve', for that matter.

35. it makes a big difference to an addict...so it was new years, that makes it o.k.? What's next, it was Tuesday?? It was Friday..once an addict, always an addict. one sip leads to a second and a third and then back to rehab. so yes, one sip does make a difference and it is a big deal.

37. AA is stupid. Rational Recovery is the way to go. Instead of "One day at a time" it's "Don't be an idiot."

40. If this is true, it is too bad. But relapse is a part of recovery. Anyone on here who makes fun of her problem has ALOT of problems of their own. Addiction is NOT funny and it is a lifelong struggle. I have seen it destroy people's lives and ruin families. I am sure that people would not make fun of the diseases of cancer or diabetes, and addiction is also a disease. Look at all the celebrities who have suffered with drug/alcohol problems. Would you losers make fun of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe too? Why not? Both of them DIED from their diseases!! Ya addiction is SUPER FUNNY!!! IDIOTS!!!!

42. Like they say one day at a time. At least she is making the effort to stop drinking. I wish people wouldn't be so judgemental. If you walked a mile in her shoes then you could appreciate the struggle. In my line of work I see addicts of all kinds on a daily basis. Support is what they need not someone's ignorant comments who probably needs to be in a program themselves!!!!

43. Yeah, this is the same liar, er lawyer, who said Paul Reubens had kitsch art instead of hardcore child porn, which he ended up convicted for. And had to pay off the kid to avoid a civil suit.

45. Dang!! Sorry to hear that one. One sip leads to more sips and that is not good. It has to be difficult to stay sober in the public eye and to have an ex-boyfriend come out and reveal the intimate details of your relationship.
